People often ask where I get my ideas. Rather than head to the scenic overlook for beauty, I just look down at the street. I almost always find what I wasn’t looking for. On a stroll one day in Astoria, Oregon, I looked down and there was a hot pink phone cord loop-di-looped on the street. The bonus was the white cross-walk stripe, completing a perfect accidental composition.
Thus, a one-of-a-kind, whimsical, concrete-effect brooch was born.
Two stainless steel pin backs are embedded into the clay. Ships immediately.
