Typography lovers will delight in this dimensional pendant with a collage of overlapping black letters. When I used to teach graphic design, one of my favorite assignments involved abstract letterform compositions. It taught students to become intimate not only with the shapes of letters but the negative spaces around them.

Transparent clay creates extra dimension. Small colored shapes fill gaps in the letters and are raised above the surface. Pendant is suspended from a custom riveted sterling silver bail. Hangs on 20″ sterling silver ball chain.
